SSL Certificate (for the web)

I’m pleased to announce that the GoodChatting.com website now has an SSL Certificate installed. Let us all rejoice!

While this doesn’t really affect anyone quite yet, at some point in September or October, I’ll likely be looking at implementing SSL support for IRC connections as well. (Late December/early January if not.)

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled chatting and, as always, good chatting to you!

  1. Is this site operational? How do I connect? tried 6661 …please put instructions for new IRC people in the doc.

    1. Hey Ian,

      In an IRC client of your choice (I recommend mIRC if you’re on Windows), you can connect by typing in:

      /server irc.goodchatting.com

      You can use port 6661 through 6669, though 6667 is the standard. If you need more help, please do contact us here.
